In
1997, painting took hold of me. My quieter expressive past gave way,
and an artistic flood was released. My personal expressions
started with mural-sized paintings passionately crafted, adorned living
room walls and doors. Emotive and vibrant reds, blues, and
indigos expressed inner-workings, thoughts, and emotions. My goal
was and still is for my art to display the inner picture inside;
sometimes the inside picture is visual but most often it is a mood or
feeling. My pieces express a variety of emotions,
including warmth, complexity, foreboding, strength, simplicity and
courage. My mood art shares a part of me and shapes the way a
room feels.
